MIDDLE SCHOOL, AVEZZANO 2021

The building is divided into three volumes of the same height, with two dedicated to the school and one housing the gymnasium. The volumes are staggered relative to each other in order to enclose a courtyard open to the landscape at the center. The main entrances to the school and the gymnasium are located at the two outer corners, where the checkerboard arrangement allows for the configuration of two reception platforms. The main entrance to the school is from Via Ferruccio Parri, and an independent entrance to the gymnasium is located on the opposite side from the entrance at the intersection of Via Alcide De Gasperi and Via Aldo Moro, ensuring separate use during school hours. The gymnasium can have independent activities.
