ASSIGNMENT
URBAN LOUNGE FOR NUIT BLANCHE, ROME – 2007

This installation embodied an Italian garden, a natural landscape that had overtaken the artificial surroundings of Capranica Square in the heart of Rome. Serving as an urban lounge, it was crafted to welcome visitors during the city’s final nuit blanche event, attracting thousands of participants. The artificial garden functioned as a natural lounge, providing a grassy couch for people to relax. Given the temporary nature of the installation, the project was designed to facilitate the recycling of nearly all the materials used in its construction.
