The new Volunteer Fire Brigade Barracks in Cognola-Martignano consists of three stacked volumes that slightly taper in an attempt to minimize their footprint in the context. The choice of color, a subtle yellow, is also intended to initiate a dialogue with the surroundings, both urban and natural. The ground floor serves as a base and houses the garage for emergency vehicles, while the first and second levels accommodate various functions and related services. The entire main facade is composed of a double skin, serving as a space for training exercises.
